Eat Your Peas for Sons
Eat Your Peas, Sons: Simple Truths and Happy Insights (3-Minute Forever Books)
Paperback – January 1, 2008 by Cheryl Karpen (Author)
Between the covers of this little book are gifts only you can give to the son in your life. Gifts of affirmation. Admiration aplenty. And a promise to hold both happiness and heartache in trust. Here you will find words every man longs to hear. May they give voice to your love and gladness to a son's heart.
I gave my son, Eat Your Peas for my Son yesterday and he called last night to tell me how much he loved it. Now he probably has not read a book since college. His fiance` called this morning and said my son actually had tears in his eyes as he finished it. He told me he would keep this book for the rest of his life. Thank you, Cheryl, for writing just the right words. --Debbie K.
Absolutely fabulous book! I will soon become a grandmother and purchased this to give to my son - who will soon have a son of his own! The entire Eat Your Peas line of books is incredible ... and this one is perfect for a teenage son or a son, who is grown. So many times, it's difficult to let our sons know how much they mean to us .. but, this book does this perfectly! I highly recommend it. --Crystal B.
This book is a charming way to tell your son you love him without being mushy or hovering. He will appreciate it. It's not easy to find a card or small gift for a grown or nearly grown son that lets him know how much his mother cares in language that is straightforward rather than melodramatic. It's a great remembrance to send to a son who is away from home or who isn't very good at listening to mom even from across the room. I was so pleased with this little book, I bought other versions for other important people in my life. --CJ King
